“Talent is cheap; dedication is expensive. It will cost you your life.” – Irving Stone

From “Lincoln 365,” by Arnold Kunst:
December 13
After a little more than four years in the White House, the 56-year-old Lincoln looked like he had aged 20 years. 'When I get through with such a day's work there is only one word that can express my condition, and that is flabbiness.' More than once he referred to 'the tired spot which can't be got at.'

'I know God will not give me anything I can't handle; I just wish that He didn't trust me so much.'
- Mother Teresa
